People on the outside of the profession, so-called ordinary folk, look at celebrity figures and think they lead easy lives. When we see them in movies, out and about at various events, it seems as if they don’t have any worries, lead lives full of bliss and harmony. If only. Celebs are just like everyone else, have things that get them down, still suffer all the stresses of daily life. In fact, being celebs, they probably have more on their plates than non-celebs. Being in the limelight, having cameras pointed at you all the time, being scrutinised, doesn’t come without its difficulties. That’s why there are a lot of celebs who struggle to deal with this fame. They have vices that get them through the day, develop addiction for various substances just to be able to function. On occasions, things become all too much, and the pressures of being a celeb certainly don’t help. We always hear about one celeb or other entering rehab to get help with an addiction. Samuel L. Jackson is one of the biggest acting stars on the planet. But his career only took off when he sought help and dealt with his drug and alcohol problems. Once upon a time his wife and daughter saw him passed out as a result of a drug overdose. He knew then that he needed to get his life sorted out. He entered rehab, and then immediately began getting mega roles and subsequently became an acting great.
